The West Indies were over here playing England in a Test series. They were well known for having fast bowlers and were favourites to win.

Probably the most famous tournament in international cricket and basically 2 nations at war. It was being played as our troops were in Iraq fighting Saddam Hussein. Ironically the 2 captains playing each other here were Steve Waugh of Australia and Nasser Hussain of England. There was only one headline, right?
